Diversified Media LLC publishes work about political culture. That is not the same as taking a corporate political position, and the company keeps the two apart.

Corporate political activity

  • The company makes no contributions to candidates, campaigns, or political parties.
  • The company makes no contributions to political action committees.
  • The company does not fund independent expenditures or electioneering communications.
  • The company does not endorse candidates or ballot measures.
  • The company does not retain lobbyists or fund lobbying activity.

Editorial independence

Books, episodes, and articles published by the company reflect the views of their creators. They are not statements of position by Diversified Media LLC or by any affiliated company, and no commercial relationship elsewhere in the family of companies determines an editorial conclusion.

Employees and creators

Individuals are free to participate in political life on their own time, with their own money, and in their own name. Personal participation is never presented as company activity, and company resources are not used for it.
