The company

Values

Six standards, applied the same way to a spelling workbook and to a book about artificial intelligence.

Finish the subject

A topic is worth publishing when it can be carried through to its end. Partial coverage that stops at the interesting part is not a product, it is a teaser.

State the uncertainty

Where something is contested, unproven, or simply unknown, that is written into the work rather than smoothed over.

Respect the reader

No manufactured urgency, no padding, and no pretending a short answer needs three hundred pages.

Separate opinion from fact

Arguments are labeled as arguments. Reporting of verifiable detail is kept distinct from the position being taken.

Disclose how the work is made

Where artificial intelligence assists in research, drafting, or production, that is disclosed rather than hidden.

Keep the company out of the copy

Creators speak for themselves. Their views are not corporate positions, and corporate interests do not set editorial conclusions.
